PAST SIMPLE
UNIT
6: MAKING HISTORY.
OBJECTIVES:
- vocabulary: jobs and time expressions (past).
- Grammar: past simple.
GRAMMAR
POINT.
Cuando
estudiamos el pasado simple de los verbos en inglés, tenemos que
tener en cuenta que éstos se dividen en tres grupos:
GRUPO
1:LOS VERBOS REGULARES. Estos verbos siguen la norma general, es
decir, añaden -ed para hacer el pasado.
GRUPO
2: LOS VERBOS IRREGULARES. Estos verbos no siguen ninguna norma,
y por tanto, hay que estudiarlos de memoria (tabla de verbos
irregulares).
GRUPO
3: OTROS VERBOS. Aunque el verbo 'to be' y 'have got' están
incluidos en la lista de los verbos irregulares, los hemos
clasificado en un tercer grupo porque son un poco especiales al
funcionar de manera totalmente diferente a los demás verbos tanto en
presente como en pasado.
SPELLING
RULES.
Las
'spelling rules' se refieren sólo a los verbos regulares.
VERBOS ACABADOS EN | SE AÑADE | EJEMPLO |
